Scottish weather...

Le début de semaine a été calme. J'ai dû refaire un tour à Edinburgh, où j'ai comme d'habitude été accueillie comme une star, mais honnêtement je trouve ça plutôt fatigant... En plus il y a plein d'escaliers là-bas - alors quand il a été question que je reste avec la petite quand mes humains se sont à nouveau traînés là-bas, j'étais soulagée. J'ai enfin pu me reposer.

The beginning of the week was calm. I had to go back to Edinburgh where I was welcome like a star, as usual... But honestly I think this is really tiring. Moreover, there are lots of staircases over there, so when I heard I was to stay home with the little one when my humans went there again, I felt relieved. At last, I could have some rest.

Aujourd'hui, l'idée, c'était d'aller faire un tour de 15 km dans les Pentland. Super.

Sauf qu'ils avaient prévu de la pluie, et en fait, on a eu aussi, du vent, de la grêle...

Bon pas au début.

Today, the idea was to go on a 15-km tour in the Pentlands. Great. Except they had forecast rain. And in fact we also got wind, hail...

Well, not at the beginning, right.

Mais pile-poil au milieu ça s'est gâté, et après ça a été terrible. Le vent retournait le parapluie, et la pluie glaciale nous démoralisait. En plus mes humains suivaient sur un bout de papier, et pestaient que "la carte n'était pas à jour". Même moi je voulais rentrer.

But right in the middle, it all went wrong and then it was terrible. The wind turned the unbrella inside out, and the freezing rain demoralised us. My humans were following the route on a sheet of paper and moaned that 'the map was not uptodate". Even I wanted to go back home !

Finalement mon humain a couru 4 km pour aller chercher la voiture à la maison pendant que nous, les trois filles, on attendait dans une forêt de sapins. J'étais trop contente quand j'ai vu notre voiture arriver !

Eventually, my human ran for 4 km to go and fetch the car while we - the three females - were waiting in a fir tree forest. I was really happy when I saw our car drive to us !
